TheHoneyBShop opened it's digital doors in July of 2015! I graduated high school that summer and I was heading to college, and of course, I needed a planner. So what does a girl do? Spend all the money in her bank account on a planner. I started my business at 18 with a planner and nothing in my bank account. All from my childhood bedroom. When I went on the hunt for some stickers, I couldn't find anything that spoke to my weird, quirky loving heart. Before I even got the planner in my hands, I starting designing stickers in... Microsoft Word. After stumbling head first into the planner community, I joined all the planner groups I could as one does when they discover a new hobby. I posted my little printable creations I whipped up and realized other crafters and planners were interested in my designs. That's when TheHoneyBShop was...well. Not born, but re-invented technically. I actually created TheHoneyBShop in high school. I had my own photography business then and I tried to sell photography prints on Etsy and not a single soul purchased them. I knew my dreams were to be some type of entrepreneur, as it does run in my family.

I mentioned we started with printables, right? Well, it took two short months, and in September of 2025, I saved all the dollars from the printables and transformed TheHoneyBShop into a physical sticker shop.

Around 2016ish, I put two and two together for my small business. I'm an artist... why not use my own artwork to elevate my business and set my niche? That's when TheHoneyBShop became the "doodle" shop you know and love today. Over the last 10+ years, this little business has evolved in so many ways that I could never have imagined. From printables to stickers, to a full stationery and planner brand with monthly subscriptions, collections, and even a brick-and-mortar storefront at one point. From Microsoft Word, to learning Procreate, to becoming self-taught in Illustrator. TheHoneyBShop is truly a journey based off lots of love, honey, determination, and the fire that fuels my soul. I put everything into my business and I am so proud and honored to be able to share this journey with you.

I began THBS in the darkest time of my life, and never knew it was going to be the light that I was craving. The community, the creativity, it all strings together and brings me so much joy. I knew in my heart that I wanted to create a path like this for myself, but never truly expected I was "worthy" enough to be living my dream day by day. And, seriously, it's all thanks to you.

I'm Shannon, or Shan! I'm the owner, creator, & designer of TheHoneyBShop! I'm level 29 in life. I live in Georgia with my husband Odie, and our two dogs, Chloe & Odin! I've always been artsy-fartsy so it makes me so excited to be able to live my day dream every single day, thanks to you. When I'm not designing up a storm, doing admin work, or managing THBS, I like to spend time with my family, play in my planners and journals, collect figurines & trinkets, or pick up hobbies I'll spend a fortune on that I'll end up forgetting about down the road. Let me introduce you to the queen herself.

♡ Shondell (aka Mama Bee) - Backbone of THBS.

That's my mama right there. Shondell, or as most people call her, Mama Bee, is truly the backbone of TheHoneyBShop. I honestly don't believe I would be anywhere near where I am today with out her. (I mean, duh, she birthed me..) BUT, I mean THBS too. Mama Bee plays some of the biggest roles in our biz.

She's the reason your orders arrive at amazon speeds. She makes sure everything is packed, perfected, and on its way to you with lots of love and honey. Nothing leaves without her magic touch. She's an organizational queen and manages our studio. It would honestly be a disaster if I was in charge, I did not get blessed with her type A personality. If you've ever picked up one of our feltie planner clips, she's the one who runs our Big Bertha (embroidery machine) and handmakes all of them. She's my right hand woman, for sure.

She's been apart of the team since the Planner Boss Collective weekend sale in 2017. The memories we've made just from selling stationery have been something I will always hold so close to me. Spending time with her during the work day, her helping me chase my dreams, traveling and meeting other paper lovers, has been the best thing on the planet for me. Hiring her and being able to give back to my family has been the highlight of my business and something I will forever be so proud of.

When Mama Bee is off the clock, she loves getting together with the family, spoiling her 2 granddaughters, and hanging out at the marina with her friends. She loves Marie from the Aristocats and Hello Kitty. She is beyond extroverted (which also didn't pass down to me) and will talk to just about anyone.
